I DID IT!!!
Ok, so it is a little something that I did, but I STILL get to cross it off of my list, and it took ME a lot of effort!!! I learned to say “Hello” in at least 20 different languages!!! I am going to list them below, but I am warning you now that I KNOW they are not spelled correctly! I just memorized them phonetically!!! So here goes:
- Hello – English (ok that one was easy)
- Bonjour – French
- Jambo – Swahili
- Aloha – Hawaiian
- Hola – Spanish
- Ciao – Italian
- Szia (See-Yah) – Hungarian
- Kalimera (Kahleemayrah) – Greek I guess technically this means “good morning”
- Konnyeje wa (Konichiwa) – Japanese
- Salam – Persian
- Namaste – Hindi
- Shalom – Hebrew
- Goeiddag – Swedish Netherlands ?
- Guten Tag – German
- Dobri den – Ukranian
- Paivaa (Pie vah) – Finnish
- Neih Hou – Cantonese
- Fofo – Zarma, Niger, West Africa (I am a little confused if this is correct???)
- O Si Yo (Oh See Yoh) – Cherokee
- Hallo – Dutch
- Bondiah – Malwian
- and my personal favorite…Bula Bula – Fijian
