Weekend Update!
I have recieved some sad news today! My sister called me and told me that Patrick Swayze passed away. I am really soooo SAD! For those of you who do not know, Patrick Swayze was my first full-on crush!!! I was totally and completey his when I watch Dirty Dancing for the first time. I remember watching it for the first time at one of my friends’ house – it was my first guy/girl party, and I felt like such a grown-up (although I really was just a newbie freshman in high school)!!! Everytime my sisters and I watched that movie, we would totally fight over who got to be Baby, and because I was the oldest, I ALWAYS won!!! Ha!! My crush really never faltered except when I found out that Patrick Swayze was 2 years older than my dad, which did seem a little odd, but I quickly got over it, and my crush continued on!!! Ghost, To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, Tall Tale, Three Wishes, North and South, My prayers go out to his family, the world will be a dimmer place without Patrick in it.Onto my weekend update; I always seem to blog just a day late, but I had such a productive weekend, I just couldn’t let it slip by!! Well, I got to spend some time with my family over at my sis-in-laws – that was fun!!! Then Sunday, I spent literally the entire day in my pajamas watching the BBC version of Jane Austen’s books, knitting, quilting, and creating flower hair peices – let’s just say I was in full-on-nesting-mode!!! That is quite the understatement!!
I also spent some more time reorganizing my office, it is still not done yet, but I will see what I can do to get some pics posted within the next couple of days!!
