Busy! Busy! Busy! Busy! Busy!!!

MY HOUSE IS GETTING CLEAN!!!! YEAH!!!! Ok, so if you have been following my posts you might have seen that I have been trying feverously to get my home in order!!! We have too much stuff, not enough storage and really it has been overwhelming our lives and we have just become unhappier and unhappier because of it!!!

It is a 3-day weekend, and I am absolutely determined to make the master bedroom as much of a jewel as my walk-in closet has become (I sometimes roll my office chair in there to sit and journal amongst all of clean, organized, boutique-ness of it all!!!) My master bedroom has never been terribly bad (not like the office), but it is still a cluttered place with waaaay too many books, magazines, furniture peices and just all around stuff!!! You know! It is the most lived-in room in our condo, second only to the living room. My husband and I use this room to sleep, read, journal, I do my hair in here, because my office was such a mess I purchased a desk and now my office is in here, we watch dvd’s in here, play with our dogs in here, have extra curricular activities in here, and on, and on, and on – I think you get the picture!!! Anyway, it has gotten out of hand, and I really am still hearing the words of my best girlfriend in my head –

So that is ONE of the MANY things that I am working on this weekend.

The other MAJOR thing that we are working on is the office! My husband is rebuilding his closet even as I speak! I am hoping that we will have made enough progress by the end of the weekend, that I am able to take some updated pics to post for you!!! We hae been working hard, and we have a HUGE Goodwill run to make. On that note, I have a CONFESSION: I am not physically able to get rid of my stuff – I am just not strong enough to do it! I ALWAYS talk myself out of it, or come up with some INSANE reason why I need to keep whatever crap it is, so I have to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to my FABULOUS husband, Jason – he is willing to do the dirty work for me and lug all of those things on their way to better homes!!!
